Carefree Lustre Powder - Metallic Yellow

Carefree Lustre powders are titanium coated mica flakes, used as a surface application which results in a “metal-flake” or “sparkle” appearance. Stabilised for glass, glazed ceramic and enamelled metal applications, they must be applied as the final coat or the lustre appearance will be lost.

To use, we recommend using Klyr-Fire to hold the powder in place. The lustre can either be sifted on, or mixed with a drop of Klyr-fire and painted on. Firing can take between 30-60 seconds and these lustres can be overfired easily, so some trial and error may be necessary. They will likely require some fine residue to be washed off after firing.

Choose from either 20g quantity (supplied in a tub), or 5g quantity (supplied in a small bag).
